Saved Life: Coast to Coast is proud to announce our partnership with Comfort Socks. We are expecting our first shipment of socks to reach us in Tallahassee. Comfort socks distributes their socks free of charge less shipping…Saved Life will be responsible for the shipping fees.
“Comfort Socks is a 501(c)3 public charity that collects new socks from individuals, schools, companies, and apparel manufacturers. We then distribute the socks to non-profit organizations that serve homeless people and families. Our mission is simple – Comfort- It just feels good to put on a new pair of socks, and we believe this warm and comfortable feeling can help to ease the pain of someone who feels lost or forgotten by this world. Socks are an important part of health and a constant need for homeless people, who are mostly on their feet, and do not change socks on a daily basis – Comfort Socks is working hard to make socks always available to those in need – In addition to supporting our local shelters – Comfort Socks stretches its service to homeless shelters coast to coast, across the United States. Comfort Socks also recognizes that sock drives encourage kindness and purpose for young and old alike, so that ultimately, the comfort these socks bring can be enjoyed soulfully by the provider and recipient.”

Shipping fees are based per box shipped. Each box contain approximately 150 pairs of socks. The cost to ship each box to Saved Life to distribute on the streets of each city we visit is $30. Each pair of socks cost us $.20 each. Your simple donation of $5 could provide clean socks, a life necessity for those living on the streets, to 25 homeless men, women, and children. What a difference we can make!
So…I ask you to help us to help them! Sign-up for our “Make Every Mile Matter” Campaign and help us make a difference to someone today! We are not asking for much. A simple donation of $5 could affect the lives of many.
Another fine example of unity in action! Join us!
